Austria!

A new direction for Corr's Tours, to Salzburg! Not that we have forgotten our French roots and friends, but with Rose relocated to Salzburg to work at Red Bull, John and I felt that we had to check it out. He went over first, and they sent me many photos snapped in beer gardens, of sausages and steins. I couldn't wait! I arrived on June 3rd, after flying out of Philly on June 2 with a direct flight to Munich and then a 2 hour shuttle ride on a van. John was waiting for me in front of the Hotel Laschenskyhof, the property connected to a farm run by one of the Family Hauthauler brothers. It really is a piece of heaven! Went directly to lunch in the garden, with a delicious clear beef broth with meat strudel floating in it and a pork schnitzel with wild mushroom sauce. Good thing John only got an asparagus soup and a salad so he could eat half of my delicious dish. Sehr gut--all the produce and meats come from the farm or surrounding farms. These folks get it right! For more details about Rose's time in Austria from April 25th, when she flew out, check out her blog
