Post Script on Party--Saturday, December 15

The next morning was a slow start at the beach in front of Lillo Island, our usual hang out. We went over the details of the night before and pieced together the scenario. Now, you know you had a good night when you find a golf club in your car the next morning and have no idea where it came from. John remembered. Lincoln brought it from Ian's when we headed over to the disco at the opening of Nana's Rooftop Bar--which we saw in the light of day on Saturday when we were out and about on the main street in Kamala.
Catlyn was the Cat-alyst. Her friend was reopening their rooftop bar after renovations and we all thought that was a great idea to swoop in and celebrate. We took over the dance floor and had a brief but memorable blitzkrieg--that ended up with a golf club in the back seat. In the heat of the day we retreated to the cavernous cool of Lafayette, an oasis of French civility on the busy downtown stretch, where they perfect coffee, pastries and liquor, of course, including the elusive Cherry Heering. Anyone for a Singapore Sling?
