About the Wines

Herve and Alex Longefay welcome guests to their cellar at Chateau du Briante

Though known primarily for the Beaujolais Nouveau popularized as a marketing gimmick, the Gamay grape is a lush varietal that can be interpreted in many ways.  The wines of Beaujolais can be very complex--though always approachable. We plan to seriously consider the cru Beaujolais while learning all about the foods of the region, with an emphasis on healthy, fresh and organic products.
