That is wonderful that John has decided to come. I appreciate his knowledge on wines. This is getting so exciting. It's hard to be patient and wait until all information becomes solid. Judith
Seems like things are shaping up! I have some questions and I am sure I will have more as we go along so I apologize in advance for bugging you! Should I wait until I have my passport before I book a flight in the event something happens with getting it?
Also, as far as flights go, I went to Kayak and they use a term I am not familiar with. It states some flights are "codeshare". Any idea what that means?!
It also seems there are no non-stop flights. What is a reasonable layover time and what time did you want us in Lyon by? There's a wide range from morning to night. And from my understanding, we are awaiting a response from Ghislaine in regard to lodging in Lyon? As far as putting a deposit on the gite and rooms, are we doing that independently or are you collecting for it?
I was able to translate the webpage Michel had sent. I used Google to do it. I don't know if it is correct, but it seems it is. I just copy and pasted the whole page into googles translator. Here's the link if you want to share with the others:

Take your time to respond, too. I'm sure I'm not the only one bothering you with so many questions!!!
I'm glad things are coming along and I am trying to do all my homework on this subject!!
