The Palace in the 'Hood--12/4

We arrived after a LONG flight from LAX through Hong Kong and Bangkok and Phuket via American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, and VietJet. Som met us at the Phuket airport, waiting for our delayed flight with her calm grace. She bundled us into their Volvo wagon and whisked us over to the rental property she found for us in their neighborhood. We stopped at a wine shop on the way and chris came over to our place with some pad Thai, smoked catfish and salad for snacking. Som had our refrigerator stocked with water, mangoes, coconuts, and Prosecco--such an intuitive person, though it is my first time meeting her in person. Our Villa!
