Chartreuse

After the market in Voiron we headed to the Chartreuse distillery where we toured the exhibit but did not wait 2 hours for the next tour. It’s France! Everything closes from 12 to 2 or so for lunch and you must get with the program. The distillery exhibits had great photos of the Grand monastery in the Chartreuse mountains where the monks gathered 130 herbs and spices for their green elixir 400 years ago. The tradition continues.
