Corr’s Tours Roule à nouveau

After nearly a 4 year hiatus, the Corrs are rolling again, some of them on skateboards. Al, Santana, and Francisco from Miami met John and Anne at Charles DeGaulle airport in Paris and after an hour delay due to police intervention over an unattended bag in the terminal, we got our bags and rental car and hit the national highway south toward the Chartreuse mountains near Grenoble. We had one stop along the way so that Al could have a business call and we snacked on savory beignets stuffed with a spicy meat mixture in a little village outside Paris. The six hour drive was tight in the little rental car, but conversation was lively and the chant of “vin rouge” and the full moon pulled us along. Michel and Nathalie greeted us at midnight with cheese, of course, and vin rouge, of course, in their lovely new country home on the side of the Massif Centrale outside Grenoble.
